Our Standard

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

What We’re Doing

  • Structure & Semantics: Clear headings, lists, landmarks, and descriptive link text.
  • Keyboard Access: Pages and controls designed to be operable without a mouse.
  • Color & Contrast: Sufficient contrast and non-color cues for important information.
  • Images & Media: Descriptive alt text for meaningful images; captions/transcripts planned for key videos.
  • Forms: Proper labels, instructions, and error messaging; meaningful button text.
  • Responsive Design: Layout adapts to various devices and zoom levels.

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As we launch new features (including rental partner tools and product widgets), we review, test, and iterate to improve compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice input, and switch devices.

Known Limitations

Some content—such as third-party apps, embedded videos, or external services—may not fully meet our target standard. We review these integrations regularly and work with vendors when issues are identified.

Product Accessibility

BomBoard is a performance watercraft intended for use in aquatic environments and may require physical strength, balance, and adherence to local water safety laws. We are exploring ways to make product information, assembly steps, and safety guidance as clear and inclusive as possible (including visual and text alternatives).
